Annie began matchmaking at just seven years old when she set her dad up with his second wife. Even as a young Cupid, she could see sparks fly between two people–long before anyone else could. Her unique understanding of people, relationships and the laws of attraction have since helped singles all over the world navigate the dating scene and find love.
Being the youngest professional matchmaker in Vancouver, Annie knows the ins and outs of modern dating. She’s witnessed the best and worst techniques used in the dating world, and knows what it takes to increase your success rate with the opposite sex.
In recent years, Annie noticed the growing demand for a more fun and effective way to date. With everyone’s hectic schedules and technology-driven lifestyles, it’s become harder to strike up conversation with a good-looking stranger. So she created The Matchmaker Club: a personal dating and matchmaking service for busy singles.

1. The Meet
The Matchmaker Club owner Annie Cranfield meets with you one-on-one to discover who you really are and what you’re looking for in a mate. This is a safe, completely confidential environment, where you can be your honest self. Don’t worry, Annie’s heard it all!
2. The Search
While you’re busy at work or at play, your well-connected personal dating agent is picking out matches, just for you. Being Vancouver’s modern dating and matchmaking service, The Matchmaker Club leverages both its extensive social networks and the online dating scene to find the best fit for you. Whenever we’ve struck gold, the lucky contender is personally screened and their details are sent to you for a green light.
3. The Date
All the legwork in coordinating schedules and organizing a time and place for your date is done for you. You’ll be given the pertinent details - all you need to do is show up and have a great time! And there’s no awkwardness after the date, we handle the post-date follow-up and give both parties feedback on how it went.
To help stay confident and positive during the dating process, members are given styling tips and ongoing date coaching sessions focused on key dating criteria such as compatibility, interpersonal skills and flirting.
